My free model of the day: Aunty Felicia

17 06 2009

For some reason or another, this post of mine was deleted.

This was a mini shoot for Aunty Felicia who wouldn’t mind being a model for me under e hot sun after seeing the previous shot I took of her previously.

Here’s e images for viewing again. Enjoy

Again, for some reasons if you realised there are patches within the dark areas, I concluded it to be due to Nikon’s Active D-lighting. When turned on, it seems to under expose some areas to provide a dynamic range in 1 single shot. I will switching it off from now onwards. It compromises my images man. ShrugsZ~

Portraiture using Nikon’s CLS (Free Model: Felicia)

13 06 2009

Caught up with Aunty Felicia for a chat on Saturday night and took a portraiture shot of her using Nikkor’s 50mm with Nikon’s Creative Lighting System (CLS), to light up the her rear. If I had another flashgun to light up her right, that would have been better…

Felicia's Portraiture

Note: Photoshopped to remove blemishes as well as correct skin tone due to the lighting from the lamp posts. Aunty, please take care of your skin, sleep more too…. HAHA

This shot, I only don’t understand why the background is patchy… I only increased exposure by +0.3… If anyone knows, do share with me. The rest of the processing was on the face only.
