Portraiture using Nikon’s CLS (Free Model: Felicia)

13 06 2009

Caught up with Aunty Felicia for a chat on Saturday night and took a portraiture shot of her using Nikkor’s 50mm with Nikon’s Creative Lighting System (CLS), to light up the her rear. If I had another flashgun to light up her right, that would have been better…

Felicia's Portraiture

Note: Photoshopped to remove blemishes as well as correct skin tone due to the lighting from the lamp posts. Aunty, please take care of your skin, sleep more too…. HAHA

This shot, I only don’t understand why the background is patchy… I only increased exposure by +0.3… If anyone knows, do share with me. The rest of the processing was on the face only.

Mr Moon with the company of the Mr Cloudy

9 06 2009

I saw Mr Moon hanging out with Mr Cloudy tonight @ 11.18pm… Can’t resist but to capture it!

Dragged out my tripod, my Nikkor coupled with the heavy 80-200mm lens, zoomed in and took a couple of exposures before processing em in Photoshop CS2 to BW mode.
