So far, This has to be my first actual sunrise, where I waited so long for this underlighting to occur. I would usually take the predawn hours only. Hee!

This June’s event was kinda unique as it was an EARLY event! It was a Sunrise at the Merlion!!! (My First!)

Woke up at 430am on a Sunday, to attempt a sunrise at Changi Boardwalk.
Having walked through it before, I roughly knew where I wanted to station myself.
My only concern was which angle would have the beautiful morning rays.

Wasn’t satisfied with the overall composition of the shots today. 8 (
This is the new road to Punggol (supposely I heard) connecting from Yishun Dam…
Took a sunrise from this angle as the Sun was rising from this direction and decided to include the prime movers that were constantly driving through this bridge to continue the construction that is still pending completion at the end of the road…
The skies were dull and cloudy at the point of time when this shot was taken, thus the gloom in this shot…

Was initially finding a spot to take sunrise and this was a location I stopped by, trying to capture this crane with the sunrise behind… little did I know the sunrise would be behind me instead haha!

Its been a year plus since I took a break from work. Now that I have the ample time to burn, it was 2 days straight of Sunrise at Lower Seletar Reservoir Park and Yishun Dam, on 29th and 30th May 2009 respectively.
